Children and Young People



All children and young people are very welcome at our 10.30 services! There is a well-resourced Children’s Space in the north aisle for under threes and their parents and carers.  On 1st, 3rd, 4th (and 5th) Sundays of the month, older children may choose to – 

  • Sing with the Choir
  • Attend a children’s group for part of the service
  • Stay in the service 

On 2nd Sundays all children and young people remain in church for our Altogether Worship service – where there are opportunities for everyone to get involved. 

Messy Church – fun, celebration, craft activities and food for all the family some Sunday afternoons, 3.00-5.00 pm. See separate leaflet for dates.

Young People’s Group (school years 9-13) meets on 2nd and 4th Sundays from 6.30-7.30pm to have fun, study the Bible, explore their faith and think about what it means to be a Christian in today’s world. On 3rd Sunday evenings they join other local churches for Youth Church.

Youth Badminton Hour – 7.30-8.30pm Lyttelton Rooms. Time to let off steam!


5.15 pm Junior Handbell practice 

6.00 pm Junior Choir practice

Young people are also welcome to join the tower Bell-ringing team, the Orchestra or Worship Band.

  • YOMP! Youth of Malvern Priory – termly fun events for school years 4 and above e.g. Team Challenge, Murder Mystery, Treasure Hunt
  • Annual Junior Choir Camp
  • Occasional bowling trips, skating, pizza parties
  • Christingle and other special services
  • Light Party – 31st October
