  • Welcome to Great Malvern Priory

    Welcome to our website.

It is here that you will find all you need to know about the Priory church and its community while the Priory building is temporarily closed.

In the top menu is a link to "Online Worship". This gives access to our "One Service For All" which we can use on Sunday. It includes a videoed service with: a children’s talk, a short reflection, and Easter music.

Join us as we continue to worship the Lord together!

Why not take this opportunity to explore our website and find out more about our worshipping community and the history of the Priory.

    Let us 'Praise the Lord!'

    Every Blessing,

Rod (Vicar of Great Malvern Priory)

Great Malvern Priory - Open for Private Prayer

In the light of the recent announcement by Government to ease some of the restrictions presently imposed, Great Malvern Priory will be opening for Private Prayer (only) on Monday, 15 June.  Hours will be limited (initially 11.00 -13.30 Monday to Saturday but not Saturday, 20 June or Friday, 26 June).  We will be following COVID-safe procedures and protocols.

This means that the Priory will not be open for gathered prayers (eg daily Morning Prayer or normal Sunday services) or for general sightseeing until a further directive has been received.

The maximum number of individuals in church at any one time has been set at 20 (if necessary a queuing system, similar to that of shops, will be in operation). This does not preclude people from coming in with a member(s) of their own household.

The accessible area will be restricted to the Nave and (wooden) chairs have been set out taking into account social distancing requirements.

The toilets will not be open and there will be no parking on the drive.

People do not have to be a member of the Priory congregation to call in for prayer – everyone is welcome!
