Great Malvern Priory Bellringers ring in the New Year
On New Year’s Eve, many partied, some stood at their windows praying and reflecting on the year past and the year to come, and others slumbered…
…but for the Priory Bellringers it was time for a very enjoyable night’s work.
Assembled in the Tower Ringing Chamber, the bellringers counted down the seconds as 2022 came to an end. On the dot, 2023 was welcomed with the sounding of the tenor bell. After the twelfth ‘bong’ a joyous peal of all ten bells rang out over Great Malvern.
