Once a year, in June, Malvern Priory goes back in time…

…to 1085, when a monk called Aldwyn founded the Priory on the slopes of the Malvern Hills.

Over 600 children from local schools are welcomed, to discover more about the history of the Priory and the life of the monks who worshipped and lived there.

From cooking, to brass rubbing, mediaeval medicine (leeches - yuck!), to bell-ringing, spinning, the prayer journey and much more, a range of activities brings history to life.

Then everyone joins together for the songs and the Lifepath play.

Lifepath 2025 will run from 23rd - 27th June.

From teaching to chair-shifting to prayer-support, from teenage to 90+, from experienced children’s worker to complete novice (excuse the pun), from introvert to extrovert, there’s a volunteer role for you at Lifepath.

Don’t worry - if you’re new, you’ll be paired with someone who knows the ropes.
