Perfect timing for HOW student

Just part of an (extra) ordinary day on Work Experience

Literally the opportunity of a lifetime for one Digital Media student at the Heart of Worcestershire College as the final panel of precious Mediaeval glass was removed from the Creation Window by experts from York Glaziers Trust.

The moment was captured from the vantage point of the Knotsford Tomb, looking into St Anne’s chapel

Meanwhile, a volunteer also caught the moment - see our Instagram feed and here.

The Creation Window was front page news in this week’s Malvern Gazette who interviewed Malvern Priory Friends Chair, Anne Eglington.

’Its some of the best surviving Mediaeval stained glass in the country, second only to York Minster. If we don’t do something about it, it will be lost forever.’ said Anne.

We are grateful to all the donors who have made this important and exciting project possible. Friends of Malvern Priory, the Headley Trust, the Worshipful Company of Glaziers and Painters of Glass.
Thank you!
