Malvern Sketchers gathered to capture the Priory on paper today

‘It’s just so beautiful. There are so many angles. Just look at the light!’
said a member of the Malvern Sketchers, holding a freshly completed, stunning sketch of the parclose screen framing a glimpse of the altar.

We were delighted to welcome the Sketchers as they practised their amazing art around the Priory, enjoying the warmth and the hospitality of Just a Cuppa. The Priory was an ideal warm, dry and beautiful space for late autumnal sketching.

Heads bowed over sketch pads, pencils and pastels moving swiftly across the page, crouched figures could be seen in the Nave and in picturesque nooks around the Priory.
