Palm Crosses at Malvern Priory

Palm Sunday
2nd April 2023

8am Communion Service following the Book of Common Prayer.

A quiet, contemplative, service of Holy Communion, using the traditional language of the Prayer Book


10.30am Altogether Communion with Baptism

Worship ‘in the round’, suitable for all ages, with a children’s address


6.30pm ‘The Gathering’

Relaxed, cafe-style church with refreshments, band and the opportunity to join in the discussion, or just enjoy the company

A contemplative, monastic, service, sung by the back row of the Priory Choir, with a short reflection and hymn.

Good Friday
7th April 2023

10.30am United Act of Witness in the Priory grounds

Christians from across Malvern gather to sing and pray in this informal service, which is suitable for all ages.

Hot drinks and hot cross buns served afterwards in the Lyttelton Rooms.


12 noon - 1pm Altogether Worship

A service suitable for all ages, with singing from the Priory Choristers


1pm - 2pm Music and Readings for Good Friday

Readings and reflections for Good Friday with music from the Priory Praise Group


2pm-3pm Service of Devotion at the Cross

With music from the Priory Singers

Easter Day
9th April 2023

6.15am Sunrise Service on the Worcestershire Beacon

Climb the Beacon in the darkness of the night and watch the first rays of dawn on Easter Day, worshipping in the company of Christians from across Malvern.
Suitable for anyone who can ascend the Beacon.
He is risen!


8am Communion Service following the Book of Common Prayer.

A service of Holy Communion, using the traditional language of the Prayer Book and concluding with a hymn and voluntary on the organ.


10.30am Parish Communion following Common Worship Liturgy

A joyful communion service in contemporary language with hymns led by the choir


6.30pm Choral Evensong

Traditional Evensong service led by the Priory Singers
