What do vicars do the rest of the week? Part 3: The Hospital

In the third part of this myth-busting series we follow Rod and Adam, the Priory Curate, to hospital as they prove that vicars don’t just work on Sundays.

Familiar faces in an often unfamiliar hospital world, Rod and Adam are welcome visitors when a member of the Priory spends time in hospital.

Listening, catching up with Priory life, praying together; hospital ministry brings comfort and hope to patients and their families at often challenging times.

Sometimes ministry is being with a person, praying silently, before leaving, unseen. Each visit is as individual as the person themselves. And they’ll be remembered in private prayer, too.

We pray for all in hospital and give thanks for the skill and compassion of those caring for us all in our times of need.
