Richard Weatherill at his Licensing as Licensed Lay Minister (Reader)

Congratulations to Richard Weatherill, our newest Licensed Lay Minister.

Richard was Admitted and Licensed by Bishop John at a special service of Celebration of Licensed Lay Ministry, held in Worcester Cathedral.

The congregation included many supporters from the Priory, including David, Sue and Chris who affirmed their ministries and renewed their commitment with this prayer

God our Father,
we offer our lives to do your work
in your Church and in the world.
Help us by your Holy Spirit
to hear more clearly your call to deeper commitment to your service,
and give us grace to respond with gladness;
for the glory of Christ our Lord. Amen

We give thanks for Richard’s response to God’s call and keep him, and all our Readers in our prayers.
