He is risen!
As the sky lightened and moonlight became the first glimmers of sunlight, a bobble-hatted stream of pilgrims ascended the Worcestershire Beacon to pray and celebrate together as the sun rose on Easter Morning.
A skylark sang its heart out overhead and the Gospel was proclaimed. Voices raised in worship.
’Thine be the glory, risen, conquering son,
endless is the victory, thou o’er death hast won’
Faces turned to the east as the sun’s first rays crept above the skyline, pouring golden light over those gathered.
Services continue today at 8am, 10.30am and 6.30pm - come and celebrate Easter at the Priory.
