All hands on deck for Priory Messy Church

It was an action-packed afternoon at the recent Messy Church at the Priory.

The typical British ‘summer’ didn’t dampen spirits as outdoor games on the Glebe in the Churchyard kicked July Messy Church off in style.

An amazing, action-packed story-telling by Suzie brought Jesus’ parable to life. ‘Who me? Yes, you! All of us. Jesus calls us all to be his children’. And it was wonderful to see everyone getting involved in the story.

No Messy Church would be complete without a sumptuous tea, and although picnic (as planned) it wasn’t, delicious it certainly was.

The next Messy Church is themed around harvest - ‘All Good Gifts’. It’s on 24th September, in the Lyttelton Rooms from 3-5pm.

Old timers or newbies ‘All’ children and their families or carers really are welcome.

If that’s you, we really hope to see you there!
