Seeing the light

If only walls could generate Vitamin D, too… Autumn sunshine bathes the Priory stonework.

‘Wow, what a DIFFERENCE it makes’ was just one comment as the south wall of Malvern Priory saw the light once more.

Vegetation which was growing adjacent to the south wall, in what was once the Priory cloisters, has been removed. Air now circulates around the stonework and sunlight’s flooding through the windows.

As well as uplifting the spirits of congregation and visitors alike, removing the vegetation protects the precious heritage of which we are the current custodians.

Heartfelt thanks to Duncan and the Abbey Hotel, for enabling the work to be undertaken.
