What do ‘charitable’ and ‘determination’ have in common?

…they both contain ‘Rita’!

For, indomitable Rita, totally undaunted by the last-minute (ish) cancellation of her fundraising wingwalk due to ‘interesting’ British weather, has rebooked.

This time, we are assured, the weather will be perfect…blue skies, small fluffy clouds, warm sunshine, lambs frolicking in the Cotswold fields below…well, maybe not, but she’s definitely re-booked for 11th May.

Something that certainly hasn’t changed is the nave floor. That hazardous former pew-plinth 4” step that so many have fallen off or tripped up is still firmly there and funds are urgently needed to lower it and make the Priory safer for everyone.
