Decorated for Christmas

There was something rather strange about Malvern, on a bright Saturday morning.

Across the town, people could be seen peering through huge bundles of freshly harvested winter foliage as they struggled along the pavements. Yew, ivy, even holly with berries (‘The Peregrines keep the pigeons off my holly tree’ explained one flower arranger to another’) made its way through the stalls of the Farmers Market, into the welcome warmth of the Priory.

A huge array of eco-friendly, reused, silk flowers was available to augment Malvern’s finest foliage, with a red, silver and white theme.

The flower arrangers soon got to work with glorious creations, inspired by the season, ready to be appreciated by the Christmas congregations.
