Sparkle and shine

‘Great job’ enthused a visitor, as one of the Priory’s team of polishing volunteers buffed the eagle lectern to a brilliant shine.

The dedication of the small team is impressive - a weekly schedule covering all the brass fitments and ornaments in the Priory, and there are a lot of them. And as the picture above shows, Priory Polishers are great ambassadors too, welcoming visitors as they carry out their labour of love.

So, as you’re sitting in the congregation at one of the Priory services this Christmas, or visiting to enjoy the wonderful peaceful atmosphere and glorious historic architecture, be dazzled by the dedication and skill as the Priory sparkles and shines.
