From ‘challenging’ to…
‘The Romans Course got off to a cracking start’ reported Rod in the pewsheet on 14th January.
And it’s just getting better and better. Hugely well-supported by folk from the Priory, the Romans Course from the Bible Society guides the Christians of today through Paul’s letter to the Romans.
’I’d never quite ‘got’ Romans’ admitted an enthusiastic course member ‘it’d always been a bit…umm…challenging. But now I’m starting to understand it and it all begins to make sense.’
Running over 10 weeks, in the Upper Room of the Lyttelton Rooms up to 60 folk get to grips with this letter, written in the first century, looking into aspects of it including sin, salvation, peace, freedom, hope, mystery and mission. It’s a time for fellowship, too, over tea coffee and biscuits.
If you haven’t come along yet, it’s not too late! The course runs every Tuesday at 7.30pm in the Lyttelton Rooms (in the Priory churchyard). No need to book - just turn up; you’ll be most welcome.
