Wrapped in prayer

‘I’ll pray for you’ is something you’ll often hear at the Priory, but Mothers’ Union ‘Prayer Shawls’ are physical evidence of prayers said.

Prayerfully knitted by members of the Mothers’ Union from across the Diocese, these lovely, lightweight shawls are made for people of any age. They assure them of others’ care and love, and of God’s constant comfort through whatever they’re facing.

The Priory has several Mothers’ Union knitters, who knit and pray with a specific person in mind. Prayer shawls are personally delivered with a lovely card and accompanying prayer.

Rest within its softness

So that you will be Cradled in Hope,

Kept in Joy,

Graced with Peace and Wrapped in God’s Love.
